Thanks for my mom and dad. I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C..

I studied in Puu-Chyan elementary school from 1987 to 1992 and in Hai-Shan junior high school from 1992 to 1995. Both of them are in Pan-Chiao city. Then, I became a student of Chien-Kuo(Jianguo) senior high school from 1995 to 1998 and recieved the B.S. degree of Electrical Engineering in National Taiwan University from 1998 to 2002. They are both in Taipei city. After that, I majored in Computer Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science college of NTU for my M.S. and PhD. degree from 2002 to 2009. After getting the PhD., I served as an assistant professor at Yuan Ze University from 2009 to 2012.

In 2012, I joined National Cheng Kung University as an assistant professor and became an associate professor in 2018. I am a full professor since 2021. In addition, I was promoted as IEEE senior member in 2020.

I am familiar with C++ and Java programming languages. Moreover, I am good at planning for database scheme and web page design using php and mysql. I was also a lecturer of "webpage design using html" from 2003 to 2006, "interactive webpage design using PHP" in 2007, and "Java Programming" in 2007 in Computer Center of Dept. of Electrical Engineering, NTU.

My major research topics are on Data Mining, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Among these, social network analysis, spatial-temporal data mining, text mining and multimedia information retrieval are my special interests. In addition, some of my research are on FinTech and bioinformatics.
